The Fight Night for Kids benefit started in 2000 as the primary fundraiser for the Fight Night for Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to helping children’s charities in Mecklenburg County and the surrounding region. This worthy foundation was created to provide assistance to disabled and underprivileged children served by medical, recreational and care groups in our community. Over the past eleven years, Fight Night for Kids is proud to have provided over $1,000,000 to these special organizations. As all cities have learned, we cannot turn away from the problems of abuse, drug addiction, disease, poor education and other challenges faced by today’s youth. Fight Night for Kids is committed to making enormous strides in improving the plight of a community of children in need.
