CIAA Basketball Tournament

For the seventh year in a row, the CIAA Men's & Women's basketball tournament will take place in the Queen City! This year the CIAA is celebrating 100 years. The schedule of events is as busy as ever with the tournament taking place at Time Warner Cable Arena February 27 – March 3, 2011. Race to the Top

Race to the Top will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012. New for 2012 is an increased climber cap to meet last year's high demand. Climbers will to the top of the Duke Energy Center's 50th floor and start every fifteen seconds and compete against gravity and the clock to be the fastest to scale the 1,194 steps!
